چکیده
Balic processes of operant conditioning arc studied most oftcn in thc animal laboratory, and the results have had important implications for the world of human affairs as well as for theories of behavior (Myerson and Hale, 1984). However, direct investigations with human subjects are not only desirable but also quite possible (Baron and Perone, 1982). The purpose of this chapter is to examine some complex instances of stimulus control as they have been revealed by the labQr~tory study of human behavior. Our discussion of stimulus control uses the language and concepts of behavioral (operant) psychology. But our analysis also draws heavily from two areas of inquiry more traditionally allied with cognitive theory. The first is that of divided attention. Although processes of attention have not been ignored completely in the study of opc;oant conditioning, the concept of attention plays a less vital role than in the study of information processing. The second area pertains to the psychological changes that accompany advancing age. With rare exception, investigations of the performance capabilites of older adults have been conducted within cognitive

An integrated production-marketing planning model With Cubic production cost function and imperfect production process
The basic assumption in the traditional inventory model is that all outputs are perfect items. However, this assumption is too simplistic in the most real-life situations due to a natural phenomenon in a production process. From this it is deduced that the system produces non-perfects items which can be classified into four groups of perfect, imperfect, reworkable defective and non-reworkable d...
متن کاملAdvanced Exergoeconomic Analysis of C3MR, MFC and DMR Refrigeration Cycles in an Integrated Cryogenic Process
C3MR, MFC, and DMR processes in an integrated LNG-NGL-NRU structure are investigated using the conventional and advanced exergy and exergoeconomic analyses. The results of advanced exergy analysis reveal that in most of the equipment, the highest amount of irreversibility is occurred because of endogenous exergy destruction. In C3MR process, compressor C5 with 9730 kW; in MFC process, compresso...
متن کاملGenetic Algorithm-Based Optimization Approach for an Uncapacitated Single Allocation P-hub Center Problem with more realistic cost structure
A p-hub center network design problem is definition of some nodes as hubs and allocation of non-hub nodes to them wherein the maximum travel times between any pair of nodes is minimized. The distinctive feature of this study is proposing a new mathematical formulation for modeling costs in a p-hub center problem. Here, instead of considering costs as a linear function of distance, for the first...
متن کاملInvestigation for an Approach to Optimise the Structure of Human Force
Abstract This paper proposes an approach to find an optimum structure for educational levels of human forces. To this end, a Linear Programming (LP) Model integrated with a Social Accounting Matrix (SAM) was employed. The integrated model was employed using the SAM of Golestan Province of Iran. It was demonstrated that when unemployment is the result of inconsistency between supply and demand...
متن کاملAdvanced exergy and exergoeconomic analysis of the integrated structure of simultaneous production of NGL recovery and liquefaction
Advanced exergoeconomic analysis is applied on process configurations for co-production of LNG and NGL. This analysis provides information on the origin of the irreversibility as well as the irreversibility value of the process. The exergy destruction, exergy destruction cost, and also investment cost, are divided into two available/unavailable and endogenous/exogenous parts. The results of adv...
متن کاملEvaluation of an Integrated Cryogenic Natural Gas Process with the Aid of Advanced Exergy and Exergoeconomic Analyses
In this study, an integrated structure of the air separation unit, natural gas liquids recovery equipped with nitrogen removal unit is developed. In this regard, advanced exergy and exergoeconomic analyses are used to examine the irreversibility, possible improvements and the cost of the inefficiencies of the process. The exergy analysis presents information on the origin of the irreversibility...
